Yes, I know I’m late for the big Father’s Day post, but that’s how I roll. Oh, and this is a rather wordy Wordless Wednesday post, but you already knew that.
Before we celebrated the occasion, My Man and I brought our Little Miss to her first Sunday School class ever, where she had a smashing good time.
She wouldn’t let me out of her sight for the first half hour we were there, but she got so engrossed with the other kids and their activities after that, that she didn’t even notice when I slipped out of the room! As you can see from the following photos, she enjoyed playing with the yellow ball most of all. I have to say, it’s quite humbling when you’re so easily replaced by a squishy rubber toy, but hey, whatever works, right? Her teachers and the caregivers in the class told me that she was such a good girl and that she ate a LOT of cookies. That’s my girl!
After the service we had a very low-key Father’s Day lunch at Parmigiano Pizzeria Ristorante at Resorts World Manila (where the food was absolutely divine, by the way). Pictured are Father and Daughter. 🙂
To My Man: Thank you so much for all that you do for our little family. Your hard work, effort and the time that you take to spend with us are all highly appreciated. I cannot thank God enough for giving me and the Little Miss such a wonderful Man. You’ve literally stepped out of my dreams and into my life and for that, I am grateful. Happy Father’s Day, we love you!
